Police brutality

This is the story of a man who was shot to death after a police chase

There are hundreds of police brutality cases just like this one, where the victim (almost always a black or Latino) die, and the police officer or officer’s get off scott free without any sort of repercussion.

Many people put up the argument that the officers were having a bad day or they were fearing for there lives, but when I have a bad day, I don’t get to shoot someone 50 times because they didn’t do what I asked in a timely manner. And certainly an unarmed 15 year old boy isn’t going to make an armed 30 year old man fear for his life just because he jumped out of the bushes at him. In the case of the boy who jumped out at the police officer, an unarmed  15 year old boy lunged out at 2 police officer’s and tackled one to the ground, the boy was grabbing at the police officer threatening to kill him, so the officer pushed the boy off of him and his partner shot the boy in the neck. The police officer’s were a quited of all charges.

I find it weird how people can claim these cases are not racist when there are so many minority brutality cases, and so few white brutality cases. If these beatings were truly random, wouldn’t the beating victims be black, white, Latino, Chinese, and so on?

In my opinion, white cop’s feel they are above the law and can beat, kill, and torture blacks without repercussion, and if the trials of these victims are any indication, the judges and jurors are in total concurrence. In almost everyone of these trials, the violators get of and the morning family’s get no kind of reparations or apology.

As a black teenager seeing so many black teens being gunned down or severely beaten by police, It makes me scared, especially since I live in an area were its mainly white and there are plenty of hardcore racist’s around. These beatings outrage me and make me fear for my own well being, which caused me to take action by writing this. The many story’s of police brutality can be found in the link below

One Response to “Police brutality”

  1. I am deeply appalled at what has been going on these days. Police Brutality has actually been on the rise since 1951 where seven lation men were beaten down by 50 police officers. Unfortunately the reason is unknown to me, but no matter the crime…fifty police officers just isnt necessary !!!
its doesnt discrimate at all ! white black asian cauacasian male female christian jew !!! your nationality probably wouldnt matter either. its just that the number of cases reported are mostly from blacks. what can we do??? we have to change..strating now. right at this moment.
